Ci siamo, i RHCP hanno annunciato l'uscita di un nuovo album nel 2016 e successivo tour mondiale nel 2017. Una bella, bellissima notizia!

Grazie alla giornalista Cait Munro ho ripensato ad alcune splendide copertine realizzate da artisti noti come Andy Warhol (The Velvet Underground And Nico, dei 'Velvet Underground' - 1967), Banksy (Think Thank, dei 'Blur' - 2003) ed il controversissimo Damien Hirst (I'm With You, dei 'RHCP' - 2011). Eccovi qualche esempio.

Oggi compie gli anni John Frusciante, due-volte-ex chitarrista dei RHCP (1988-1992 e 1998-2009) nonché settantaduesimo miglior musicista di tutti i tempi secondo la rivista statunitense Rolling Stone. Impossibile non ricordarlo...

:: ventidue candeline ed un pizzico di nostalgia

Sembra impossibile ma sono passati ben ventidue anni dall'uscita del video di 'Under The Bridge' diretto da Gus Van Sant. Certamente non il mio preferito ma ugualmente indimenticabile.

Oggi è uscito un nuovo EP dei RHCP.
